The new edition of the Music & Snow festival takes place until March 5th 2022 in Les Diablerets. Concerts of jazz, classical and popular music will be proposed to the public.
The 53rd edition of the Musique & Neige Festival will be held between 1 January and 5 March 2022 and is aimed at audiences of all kinds.
The approachable festival retains its friendly and warm atmosphere, allowing for musical encounters between renowned artists and their audiences. The Temple Vers-l’Eglise in Les Diablerets will host various different artists between January and March.
The festival will kick off on 1 January with an improvised concert by Vincent Peirani (accordion) and François Salque (cello). Jazz, classical, popular music – there will be plenty of surprises.
On 22 January, the renowned ensembles of Quatuor Belcea and Quatuor Ebène will make a stop in Les Diablerets on their European tour.
Tedi Papavrami will perform three of the six Bach sonatas and partitas for solo violin on 29 January.
Wind instruments will also be represented, as on 5 February, the Quintette Moraguès will present a programme devoted to the first movement of Grieg's String Quartet. Swiss singer Marina Viotti and French guitarist Gabriel Bianco will perform their new programme, presented in French and Spanish, on 12 February. Entitled Porque existe otro querer?, it speaks of love, hope and disappointment. Three well-known German musicians will perform in Les Diablerets on 19 February: Sarah Christian, Maximilian Hornung and Herbert Schuch.
On 26 February, cellist Ophélie Gaillard and her trio (Juanjo Mosalini on the bandoneon and Romain Lecuyer on the double bass) will invite their audience to embark on a musical journey from Spain to South America. And finally, the charismatic quartet Quatuor Apollon Musagète will bring this edition to a close with a programme of Schubert and Dvořák.
