Saint-Cergue, pure nature

In the Vaudois Jura, a few minutes from Nyon and Lake Geneva, Saint-Cergue is a popular family resort, both winter and summer.

The village of Saint-Cergue (1,047 m) is a real gateway to the Vaudois Jura Regional Park, a site covering over 530 km2. Dominated by the Dôle (1677 m), pine forests, valleys and clearings offer spectacular views over Lake Geneva, the Alps and the Jura. Saint-Cergue and La Givrine can be reached by car or train from Nyon.

In the refreshing pine-scented forests, there is a network of marked trails for hikers, quads, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing (120 km of trails) and dog sledding. There is also downhill skiing for families in Dôle and Saint-Cergue which also offers the unique experience of floodlit slopes in the centre of the village. Many winter night-time excursions end around a typically Swiss fondue in a mountain restaurant, like in Basseruche, which offers a multitude of activities in winter (show-shoeing, tobogganing) and summer (zip lines, Swin Golf).
