Les Mosses - Sports
The « FoxTrail Fond’action » is not just a cross-country ski race. It’s also a lot of fun and raises money for a good cause ! Cross-country competitors have to give it their all because they need a great deal of stamina to win this long distance endurance race.
On the Mosses-La Lécherette plateau, the cross-country skiers quickly rack up the kilometres. This long distance race is completed on either a 15km or 30km track. Children can also get in on the act with a circuit specially adapted to their age.
The traditional « mass start » makes it an exciting spectator sport. And with the racetrack in the form of a circuit, supporters don’t need to move too far to encourage the athletes every step of the way. To get a close-up of proceedings, the Nordic Centre makes an ideal standpoint. For a view out in the wilderness, the trail criss-crosses the Mosses-La Lécherette plateau.
The « FoxTrail Fond’action » is much more than just a cross-country ski race. It’s also an opportunity to support a foundation dedicated to cancer research.
