Fans of terroir products and traditional inns, rejoice! From the 2nd until 4th December, more than 100 participating restaurateurs in the canton of Vaud will serve a typical Vaudois menu for only 20 Swiss francs. On the menu: cold meats, a fondue, bread and of course a glass of Chasselas!
Wine tasting fans are well acquainted with the Open cellar days. Now, there will be the Quaint restaurants days for fans of terroir products and quaint restaurants! Typical for the canton of Vaud, a “pinte” is a traditional pub, where you can enjoy local specialties, usually accompanied by a glass of Chasselas, the king of the Vaudois white grape varieties.
From the 2nd until 4th December the “pintes” join together to let you (re)discover their authentic welcome and Vaudois terroir products. The participating restaurants offer a unique menu for only 20 Swiss francs. To whet your appetite, the meal starts with PGI dry sausage and its traditional baguette, followed by a 100% Vaudois PDO Gruyère fondue and its bread cubes. All these delicacies are of course accompanied by a glass of Chasselas, which is included in the price.
Advance booking in the restaurant of your choice is recommended. The relevant list can be downloaded from https://pintesouvertes.ch/
