This year, the firemen's association is in charge of celebrating the Swiss bank holidays.

During the day, the firemen's association provides the festivities with a small restaurant. At nightfall, the traditional evening takes place: aperitif, meal, official part, bonfire and magnificent fireworks. A full programme for residents and guests to spend an unforgettable and joyful day of remembrance together and toast to friendship.

    Because of the dry weather, the commune of Ormont-Dessous has decided to ban the traditional August 1st bonfires.
