One of the best-known Vaudois vineyards is Yvorne, where Domaine Dillet welcomes visitors in a vinothek, a carnotzet or on the terrace opposite the summit of Dents-du-Midi. There are several offers to allow visitors to enjoy the ten wines of the estate.
The Minod family has been growing vines at the Dillet estate in Yvorne for six generations. Yvorne is part of the Chablais AOC winegrowing region. The wines are produced according to ancestral traditions in combination with modern technologies. The result are elegant wines that respect the terroir and the authenticity of the products. The range of grape varieties has been diversified over time. Now there are ten different wines available from the estate.
Wine tourism fans are welcome on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons as well as on Saturday morning or by appointment. Two packages are available to taste two wines for CHF 8 or three wines for CHF 12. Flutes are offered as a free accompaniment. The cellar can be visited upon request. Eric and Sylvia Minod also organise events combining the discovery of the estate, wine production and terroir products. The magnificent vinothek accommodates up to 25 people, while the typical carnotzet receives groups of up to 10 people.
