In the Vaudois Alps, surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, Les Diablerets has free groomed cross-country trails for all to enjoy! Situated in village, the Isenau ski area or on the glacier at 3,000 m, the trails are popular with skiers of all abilities.
A winter sport originating in the north, cross-country skiing is becoming more and more popular. Not requiring any specific infrastructure and easy to learn, this activity brings snowy nature within reach of everyone, from families to high level athletes.
At Les Diablerets, skiers have free access to 30 km of classic trails and 15 km of skate trails. The sports shops in the village sell or rent the equipment required and the tourist office keeps visitors informed about conditions on the trails.
There are various circular trails starting from the village, for beginners and seasoned skiers, taking them through fields and forests. A longer route runs from Les Diablerets to Vers-L’Eglise and there is a 6 km loop in the Isenau ski area setting off from the gondola lift towards Les Moilles plateau. When there is not enough snow for these trails, there’s Glacier 3000. At 3,000 m, there is a 7 km route through a lunar landscape for skiers to enjoy.
