In winter, the unspoilt natural environment of Pays-d’Enhaut welcomes skiers of all abilities on well-groomed trails, day and night! The region is linked to the Les Mosses area and the Nordic Ski Area of the Vaudois Alps, a cross-country skiing Mecca.
Lovers of exercise in the great outdoors flock to the Pays-d’Enhaut cross-country skiing trails, whether it’s for a sporting challenge or a day out with family or friends.
The authentic village of Rougemont offers a 1.8 km trail, for classic and skate skiing, which is floodlit from 6 to 10 p.m. for night skiing. Connecting the three villages to the lakeshore town of Montreux, the MOB railway line offers easy access to the slopes for an invigorating winter’s day out. The local sports shops rent out equipment, while the tourist offices provide information on the routes available.
Well-known by cross-country skiing enthusiasts from all over Switzerland, the Nordic Ski Area of the Vaudois Alps is only a few kilometres from Pays-d’Enhaut.
