Near Blonay, on the hills overlooking the Montreux Riviera, Les Pléiades is the ideal resort for families and visitors looking for winter sports close to towns, with four well-groomed cross-country trails for skiers of all abilities totalling a distance of 22 km.
Cross-country ski enthusiasts love this sport for how accessible it is for everyone, and less than 15 km from Vevey, the trails at Les Pléiades make it even easier to get involved. It takes you just a few minutes by car or train to get from the shores of Lake Geneva to snow-covered trails at an altitude of about 1,200 m.
Covering a total of 20 km, three trails ranging from beginner to experienced – blue, red and black – wind through the unspoilt landscape of “Les Tenasses”. Certain sections are open to skiers with their dogs. In addition to these three loops, there’s a floodlit trail of 2 km, so you can ski under the stars. There’s a little alpine restaurant on the floodlit trail and the blue loop so you can stop and have a rest and treat yourself to some typical Swiss specialities.
