This alpine chalet which has been home to the Berruex family for over 40 years offers stunning views of the Ormonts valley: Les Diablerets, Le Muveran, Les Dents du Midi, Leysin, Les Tours d'Aï and Mayen.
Open in the summer, this cafe/restaurant welcomes hikers with its menu of cold meat and cheese platters, fondue or cheese bakes. Take the time to quench your thirst, refuel and admire the incredible views over the mountains of Les Diablerets, Muverans, Dents du Midi and even Leysin. From the Lake Retaud car park, take the road on the right of the lake for about 400 m. Then turn left and take the footpath above the lake until you get to La Marnèche (approx. 45 min). Heading back down takes 30 min.
