The Gryon-Les Chaux Snow Village in the Vaudois Alps pulls out all the stops for kids. Budding skiers can enjoy learning to ski in a safe environment with games and fun figures. A conveyor lift takes them to the top of a gentle slope so they can try out their skills. Every day from 10 to 12 a.m., specialised ski school instructors offer group lessons. And so the parents can enjoy a few runs on their own, children can have a lesson from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., including lunch. In the afternoons, families can use the facilities or sign the little ones up for a private lesson. For tiny tot skiers, trial lessons are offered from the age of 2 to 3.
