Stroll through Rougemont enjoying local culinary specialities and the arts and crafts of the region. That’s the attraction of the traditional Village Market at the beginning of August. With over hundred stallholders displaying their wares, it makes for a day that’s as savoury as it is fun.
Every summer in the month of August, the Village Market welcomes you to Rougement for a day that marries the pleasures of the palate with the magic of making. More than hundred stallholders line village streets for once closed to traffic. And so you can stroll through a kaleidoscope of authentic regional produce, local specialities and arts and crafts from near and far. You’ll find all manner of entertainments too for young and old like: a bouncy castle, clowns, craftworkshop, climbingwall, caricature, helicopter flight and folk music of the Pays-d’Enhaut. A day of fascination and fun, and the guarantee of happy hours spent in cheerful company.
