This year’s 13th edition of the Glacier 3000 Run will take place in its usual format. Participants will start on the Promenade in Gstaad and run or hike up to the eternal ice of Glacier 3000.
The Glacier 3000 Run is the perfect opportunity for all those seeking a special challenge. Runners have to overcome 1,900 metres in altitude difference over 26 kilometres. The route leads through the idyllic region of Saanen to Reusch, where the ascent via Oldenegg to the Cabane and onward to Glacier 3000 begins.
The Glacier 3000 Run will be held in the categories Single and Team. In the Alpine Nordic Walking category, the route starts at Oldenegg and ends on the Scex Rouge. Children and youth up to age 16 can participate in the Gstaad Kids Run.
