Gorges du Chaudron

Les Gorges du Chauderon

The trail shown on the map below is an alternative that does not go through the heart of the gorge.

A shaded path winds along spectacular gorges in a wild natural setting. An exotic hike a few steps away from Montreux city centre.

Behind Montreux train station, you will find the yellow hiking signs. Follow "Les Gorges du Chauderon", enter the old town and you will reach the street "Rue du Pont". After the bridge on your left, take the « Ruelle du Chauderon ». Follow « Gorges du Chauderon » yellow signs until a bjg junction in the Gorges. Then, follow «Glion» signs. On the concrete road, shortly follow « Chemin des Narcisses» and then « Route de Mottalettaz ». On the road to Caux, follow directions to Montreux, after a big curve, turn right on the « Sentier du Télégraphe » to go back to Montreux old town
