Discovery hike to appreciate the beauty of the Argentine and Muveran mountain chains set in a wild and geologically tortured panorama, plus three mountain hamlets and countless splendid vantage points.
Hike departing from Solalex, in a small valley at the foot of the impressive Diablerets rocks and the imposing Miroir d'Argentine, a fossilized coral reef dating back to the Tethys Sea (200 million years ago). Countless fossils bear witness to this fact. Arrival at Anzeinde, greeted by marmots in a typically wild and mountainous atmosphere.
The ideal hike to discover the Alpine pastures of Solalex and Anzeindaz. From there, the path becomes slightly more mountainous and takes you across Col des Essets. After descending to La Vare, it will lead you up to La Motte offering a marvellous vantage point of the Rhone plain and Lake Geneva. A steeper path will then take you back to your starting point at Solalex.
