The Tour de France will stop twice in Vaud. The cyclists will finish the 8th stage in the Olympic capital, Lausanne. The next day, they will start in Aigle.
The canton of Vaud is hosting two stages of the legendary Tour de France on its territory. After 184 km of racing, the cyclists will cross the finish line of the 8th stage at the Pontaise Velodrome in Lausanne, Olympic capital. Many activities will be present in the streets to make the spectators live a unique experience. Animation zones, stands around cycling and sport as well as local products will be put forward during this day of the small queen.
The 9th stage will start the next day in Aigle where the world cycling center is located. The athletes will experience the first mountain stage of the competition. The spectators will again be well served with several stands and animations.
