Every year in May, the famous Bol d’Or Henri Lloyd brings together many sailing boats on Lake Neuchâtel and attracts a great number of spectators.
The Lake Neuchâtel Bol d'Or has become the king of events on the largest entirely Swiss lake. This regatta attracts a great many spectators who come to admire this colourful display from the quays of port Pécos to the landing. Around a hundred sailing boats cover some 60km / 33 miles, from Grandson to Neuchâtel and back.
In order to accompany the sailing boats for the first few miles, the organisers offer spectators the opportunity of embarking on board the “corsair”!
